Also I will turn into a worthless husk of a shill and buy the games anyway just as a desperate attempt to hold on.

Honestly, people need to stop thinking it's okay. "Making games is hard" isn't an excuse. I don't buy games to support developers who are trying their best, I buy 'em to have fun, and if a game isn't going to cater what I'm looking for, I'm not gonna buy it.
