I haven't really accepted the "issues," I seriously hope a National Dex is implemented in the next $60 DLC, or a post-release patch with Home.
However these issues aren't the end all be all for me, I treat every new Pokemon game like an "experience." Play through the story, meet new characters, catch some new Pokemon, beat the game and mess around online. Yes I play Pokemon for the story, I cried during XY and enjoyed the characters / world building of SM. Pretty much everything I look for in a new Pokemon game is here, problems withstanding.
