I was very excited for this game. Seems like lots of people were after the direct and treehouse before Masuda opened his mouth.
But because of dynamaxing, because they want to sell more plastic bracelets, they can't finish it. They ran out of time to finish the models before black Friday. So they'll cut the pokemon that don't have the models finished.
Thats it. It's not a balancing issue because they can have a ban list in tournaments which shouldn't affect casual gameplay. It's not a quality of life improvement since there haven't been massive improvements elsewhere.
So now, we have to suffer from cut content, including pokemon from a pokemon game, so they can push a gimmick no one likes and sell merchandise.
>pokemon bow or ultimate is going to include all the missing pokemonThis hasn't been said at all, just that pokemon in Home will be eventually compatible with future games. The third version won't necessarily include all the pokemon. There might not even be a third version, like XY, or it'll be barely any improvement, like USUM. Pokemon will be cut until future generations, so next game, pokemon you like MIGHT be included.
>z moves and megas were brokenCompetitive could at any time banned z moves and megas to maintain a more balanced meta. However, the bigger issue is that they've been cut period. Because that means dynamaxing, the gimmick possibly preventing them from including all pokemon, will also be dropped and replaced with another dumb time consuming gimmick no one wants over pokemon. All gimmicks should be dropped, balance mega stats and let them be cross evos or regular evos, make attack animations watered down z moves.
People are reacting as they should be. This was the worst path they could have taken and somehow didn't foresee the backlash, or just didn't care. Because merchandise.
