You DO realize what this whole culling of the Pokedex is leading to right? Why, with the main line games no longer allowing you to battle and use all of the Pokemon, it means they now have a reason to bring back the Stadium games! A new Battle Revolution! The appeal of seeing Pokemon battle in 3D is no longer there but.. well, the appeal to have all the Pokemon available to use in one game? That will certainly give reason for the stadium games to make a comeback. I wouldn't be surprised if this was their main reason for not coding in half the Pokedex in the first place.
