Since megas and Z moves are fucking gone forever. Did you actually like megas,hate megas or just not care for them at all?

You posted it. I like the idea of Megas but the execution for a bunch of them looked awful to me. For example I like the way Mega Glalie looked, but I don't like that it can never close its mouth in Mega form.
Plus, I think Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Manectric, Mega Latis, etc look terrible. I also don't like others like Mega Altaria or Mega Ampharos because the stuff on their head looks ridiculous but I understand a bunch of people like them for some reason or another.

Megas were a dumb idea, they could have just made new Pokemon. I like some of the designs, sure, but there is no reason pokemon like Garchomp needed a buff

The real question is how will the metagame look now? We are going to have a limited roster of mons to use in teams and there are no megas or z moves just dynamax and possibly gigantamax.

I loved Megas, they made many bad Pokemon viable.
The people that complain about them being too strong are dumb since there was only like 5 of them in Ubers.

I'll miss Beedrill, it was a really fun glass cannon. Regular Beedrill won't ever be viable without a mega because it needed the insane minmaxing and Adaptability, and it can't get an evolution either.

At first, when they were announced, I didnt liked that much Megas and Z moves. I was kinda "meh...".
But then, when everything was in the game, I liked a lot the concept of "a pokemon with not that good stats still can be actually good in strat thanks to megas or z moves".
For exemple, one of my favorite mons is Silvally. But we all know he's pretty bad in strat. BUT, after a ton of tests, I finaly succeed to do a moveset with Z-explosion wich works perfectly in my team !!! I was really happy and it was really fun to play !! My oponents everytime was super surprised to endure such a strong z move first and then the pokemon fucking EXPLOSES

Fuck pokemon company for ruining everything that was so cool in previous games...

Had my girl since Leaf Green and seeing her overcome her weaknesses despite no HA and becoming able to be a bulky offensive tank that can finally stand up to Charizard on equal ground was awesome. I loved Megas and unironically enjoyed the cheesy power of friendship sthick it had, and I also admit I loved all the designs.

I think Z-Moves are equally silly and in an endearing way, so I didn't mind them.

Removing them both for something that's bullshit "literally just make it bigger" and removing BOTH of the previous things? And cutting all my favorites, including my Saur?

No. Fuck that. Not this time.

This especially bothered me with mons like Heracross. Fucking badass bugmon gets a derpy ass looking mega that doesn't play like normal heracross at all and is just straight up better. That really bothered me

I rarely used them because I don’t play competitive and for the most part they weren’t necessary in the base game. I tended to avoid them because the animation to mega dvolve was tedious.

I had my reservations about the idea of mega evolution, and some mega designs rubbed me the wrong way. Still, it sucks that we're losing the likes of Mega Sableye for a directly inferior gimmick.

Why not? It could be the first 4-stage. They'll do 4-stagers eventually. Even if they say they won't they'll be slow on ideas one day and od it anyway.
