I genuinely don't understand. Is it brainwashing? cold hard acceptance of mediocrity? contemplacy? masochism??
I seriously feel like this fanbase is in an abusive relationship, and that we're so used to shit that we don't know any better. Game Freak could literaly shit on our doorstep and sell it as a game and we would find one million excuses for them, despite the fact that they're rich as shit and that if another company pulled that shit, we would chew them out.
