Normies will inevitably sell their carts back because their logic will be "I can just store my Pokemon now and forget them until the next game"

This will be the first time I'm buying used because I know I won't be able to resist but I can throw money to someone else to get a copy
Once they see their sales dip massively and that normies can't sustain Pokemon, they'll backpedal.
