It’s kinda disappointing that most people around me like competitive raids more than PvP because the PvP rewards for success are worth nothing, but the social aspect of collecting, trading, battling and raiding is at least very fun and what I enjoy Pokemon for. Looking forward to going to the fest this weekend with my friend I made through this game.

GO transfer is one way, you can send pokemon out of GO but you can't put them back in because of how stats work in different ways in GO and main series

I've been enjoying GO more than the main series since a bit after USUM came out. I dropped US at about 40 hours and started playing GO instead up until this day.

It's not even that bad anymore. Weather boosted spawns were the best thing that happened to this game. If you stopped before then give it another try.
I started playing when I skipped USUM, and learning how to make sense of the game's mechanics (CP, spawns, what was good/bad) was half of the fun for me.
