And now with the policy of no national dex

will Platinum forever be the definitive Sinnoh experience?
Is USUM truly the definitive version of Pokemon before we went off the deep end?

For a monster collecting franchise that spans multiple generations and regions, EVERYTHING is now meaningless with this policy change.
There's no point playing the games at all if you are the collector type now, and collecting is the absolute core of the franchise. This change is even bigger and more fundamental than a lot of people realize, it's going to get worse from here on out as the full implications are felt.

I could at least see why a returning player would like ORAS to some degree. I don't think it's a good remake at all, I'm just listing why its going to be better than whatever GF shits out for Gen 4. I quite literally do not see any feasible reason to play any future remakes. They will be the same game, probably dumbed down, with a new gimmick, or just fucking Dynamaxing if they're lazy again.

This. I caught all Pokemon over again in each generation. I bought both physical and digital versions of each game, both versions. I'm not buying these games. I've grown older and have just lost interest. I used to put 200 hours into the games in the first two weeks of their release. But in gen 7 I only have about 130 total from the past 3 years. I'm done with the chinks' ruining of the series.
