I'm not sure why people have been saying "You knew it was going to happen eventually" because the thought that they WOULDN'T let us transfer Pokemon never even crossed my mind. I figured it was a sacred pillar of the games that would never be touched.

I'm glad all the starters are well designed and are good in competitive while it being busted.Mega such as the mega johto starters were also nice, meganium went from bad in PU to the best cleric in OU.Cross-gen evolutions for the likes of dunsparce were nice.Balances patches helped come down the meta, all the UBs are now fair in competitive thanks to them.

Bonus points for Gloria’s Scottish sass. Didn’t think Game Freak would manage to make her so aggressive while still having her be such a sweetheart. I’m glad they did, though, the personality served the side quest well.

I remember when I shit on GF for LGPE. I'm so fucking glad they actually spend the 2 years of developments not only making better animations for all 10000 pokémon, but scaling their textures, too. This game is genuinely a 10/10. I heard Kojima was scared to lose the Game of the Year award. This is genuinely insane. Just like Ohmori said: "the best Pokémon experience". I can't wait to bring my bros via Home to Galar once I finish the league.

An item/mechanic that boosts your stats, but the amount by which it boosts depends on the base stats. The lower your base stats are, the greater boosts you get. So if a Lando-T used it, it'd only get maybe +5 in every stat, and if a Delcatty used it, it could get +50 in every stat. Make it usable only once per battle, and the boosts could last either until you switch like normal boosting or for the rest of the game like Megas. This way you can use a shitmon that you like without feeling the need to just slap it on your strongest mon

that aside z-moves was gimmicky as fuck and megas felt like digimon or some knock off bs, but it ended up being cool
of course weedle wouldnt get one but giving megas to already strong pokes was retarded
houndoom and manectric megas are examples of great choices
megas in general was a gimmick i can understand. competitive aside it added maybe 15 new mons per gen but didnt stress anything out. if anything they should have just had more evos for older lines, but whatever.
personally SwSh's legendary better make this enlargement bs feel like it makes sense when i bet you it wont
desu should have just stuck with regional forms and new older line cross gen evos
