Its too stuffed, kalos has no identity. Johto also has this problem a bit though, thanks to shitty encounter rates for its own Pokemon.

Johto isn't the worst region. That dishonor goes to Alola.

That said, Johto has some big issues. Mainly with its wild Pokemon distribution and level disparities.

I'm replaying it and I still hate that most of the new Pokémon are barely featured in.

I had to go out of my way to use pin missile Forretress, the new Pokémon have mostly shit movepools and shit distribution.

The whole game feels like Kanto greatest hits featuring your Jotho starter.
