So aside from the bullshit of no National Dex, I really have to ask, what exactly is the thought process behind removing Megas and Z-Moves? Whether or not you like them (I like Megas for the most part, hate Z-Moves) I just don't see the logic in introducing brand new subsystems to the game that you then remove in the next generation or two. That would be like taking out weather or abilities. Why put them in at all if the commitment to them was so weak that they could be discarded?
And then compare to this Dynamax bullshit that is very obviously not going to hang around. I mean can you really imagine making "Pokemon become Kaiju, also MMO-style raids(?)" a long-lasting mechanic? It's just so bizarre, awkward, and unlike the rest of the game. I can't even imagine how stupid it's going to look in the anime.
