Don't forget you will also need Bank if you want to transfer Mons from an older game to Home. Say You replay Emerald, and you get a Shiny Ludicolo. To get it to Home you will have to go trough bank first.

I don't think they ever confirmed the price or if it's even paid. It probably will be paid even though everything you can store will amount to less than 10 MB. There's also a chance it'll be included in the Switch online subscription.

Nonsense, they'll just rerelease the games for the Switch (for full price) similar to how the virtual console 3DS games work. Then if you want an Emerald pokemon to get into Home you just need to buy Emerald for Switch, then a 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th gen game for Switch (of course they won't allow direct transfers to Home, that'd be silly! you'll need to go 3rd->4th->5th->6th->7th->8th to preserve the authentic experience).
