First versions never have the national dex, but third versions always have ways to have them all. They always do something like that. Why are people so upset this time around?

The difference is that non-Galar dex Pokemon wont even be in the code, all Pokemon games prior (minus LGPE) have every Pokemon in the code, a lot of them just required transfer

Not anymore, retard, they confirmed no Core Pokemon Game will ever again have All Pokemon be available for use to any degree whatsoever.
Hope Sinnohfetuses are happy with their inevitable remake that only has Pokemon in the DP Sinnoh Pokedex and a nonexistent or heavily-gutted Battle Zone, because that'd require them to either alter the Pokedex to include a bunch of Pokemon who appear only after you become Champion.

No it was not the same, sure you can get only Unova mon in the game but after beating the Elite4 you can transfer any pokemon you like (with the exception of Spiky Ear Pichu) Even Sun and Moon di not have a National Dex, that was in the bank, but you can still transfer your pokemon in the game becouse they are coded in the game. And if you ask for a source they say this them self that only a selct group of Pokemon would be in the game code. Lear out to read and listen when they show material that you like. All of this would make future game in the same generation incompatible, just like what happen with X/Y and OR/AS mega evolutions.

What's the point of coding them in if they're unobtainable by legitimate means? People aren't specifically mad that the pokemon aren't in the code, they're mad that they won't be allowed to have those pokemon in the game, whether or not they can actually be caught in Galar.

I know is pure cringe. But that is the "i lost the number" of pepole asking why we are mad about the National Dex that is not the game. Completing missing the point that we are not talking about the dex as the item but the Pokemon not be coded in the game.

GF is notorious for leaving unused code all over the games. They won't purposefully avoid coding old pokemon in, they'll just leave what they have in the game with minimal changes from previous games

Because before Pokemon were capable of being transferred in regardless of whether they had data for the national dex
The national dex isn't what we're complaining about
It's the complete lack of ability to have your Pokemon in any fashion in the game.
