Will you be buying Pokemon Sword & Shield? If yes, which one and why? If no, what made you finally make that decision?

Just want to see where everyone is when it comes to the Pokemon Franchise and its future.

It's very much in the air for me. I was pretty hyped up until the culling announcement but in all honesty, if my bros get in I'd be fine with it.
For now, I'm holding my breath and waiting for whatever could happen. I always try and find a silver lining with fuck-ups like this, so hopefully things get better.
Oh, and if I do buy it, it'll be shield.

If I do get it, it'll be used. They'd have to reveal something crazy to sell me though, like there being some sort of equivalent to Showdown where you can battle on a ladder and prepare teams much more easily

I was going to, and probably even buy both, until it was announced that I wouldn't be able to bring 'mons outside the Galar Dex. Now I won't buy either, and I won't buy any future mainline title that does this either. If a patch ever comes that restores this functionality, I'll reconsider AFTER the patch is released; until then, forget it.

No. I actually have never transferred or taken advantage of the national dex, but I recognize its importance, and more importantly hate how Gamefreak has continuously removed good features in the series. So it's important to me to stick to my principles and not financially support them until they change their ways.

Yes, Sword I like the legendary mon better but I would probably change my mind if there are exclusive mons in Shield I want more.

I liked what I saw at the direct, don't really care about the culling, not happy either, never been one to collect them all or trade them between games, but I do understand why people are upset.

Money is not an issue, I've wasted more in other games and played less. This year has been lacking in regard to interesting games.

I grew up with the saga it evokes many happy childhood memories, easier times without a care in the world.

The culling, lets be honest with ourselves though, the games were going to be most likely shit regardless, i was going to get it solely to fight LGPE influence, but apparently we already lost that war, so its pointless to try it, let this franchise continue to rot until not even the most insistent shills cant take it. When im interested to see what the dumpster fire has to offer i will just do showdown matches or wait for Yuzu.
