If you ever bought anything Pokémon related that wasn't actually a core/upper/remake game title by Game Freak, you directly contributed to the growth of the non-core elements of the Pokémon franchise. YOU are to blame for the situation we find ourselves in, where Game Freak can't delay the games to do what they should, as too much money will be lost because of your support of everything BUT Game Freak in this franchise.
