Not to mention the media gets full access to litigation in cases of consumer violation rights unlike those related to drug traffic or murder.

Depending on how the law is worded, it may require a sufficient portion of the consumerbase to be affected. Plus for it to go anywhere in court, it probably needs to be backed up with how the product is defective or unacceptable.
