Alright here's my pipe dream for what happens after Sword and Shield releases.
>Whether or not they're enhanced versions or sequels Takao Unno is put on as director with Shigeki Morimoto or Takeshi Kawachimaru as Producer
>Ohmori takes on a different role
>Masuda steps down from taking on any lead positions in Pokemon games.
>Pokemon implementation is the first thing they work on, getting all Pokemon missing into the game. Sword and Shield gets a free update for people who don't get the new games.
>Textures are the next thing, with a new stylistic design with the game like USUM, but instead of it being for literally one route it's for the entire game.
>Animations are also worked on, mainly move animations as the stuff like walking and idle animations are pretty alright as is.
>Wild Area is given more areas to explore whether or not it ends up being empty in Sword/Shield. Weather effects are expanded on.
>Wild Area is also made less lifeless. Things like a few houses here and there hidden away, Pokemon interacting with eachother rather than just running around waiting for the trainer to run into them. More flora and shit to look at and interact with.
>OPTIONAL WALKING POKEMON
>Megas and Z-Moves come back in post game
>Really fucking reaching here but new megas
>New Gigantamaxing forms
>Game is compatible to play with Sword and Shield in battles and trading. Sword and Shield players just can't obtain any of the new version things
>Some new Pokemon if Sword and Shield's dex ends up being small.
What do you think? Feel free to post yours, friends.
