>>38997057Nothing professional about it, it is more i like verifying shit and i had pleasant surprises where a game ended up being surprisingly good in spite of poor reputation because people obsessed over minor thing, the actual bad games make me appreciate good ones.
Course i also had the opposite, games where people just obsessed over a single thing and it turned out be littered with more flaws people forget to mention in favour of just the one, or the defenders overstate the "redeeming factor".
Sword and Shield are kinda interesting in the regard that they are already following up on Sun/Moon and Let's Go, that were as "Even worse then i thought" and a "Bad, but not as bad as i expected" respectively, do note that i don't necessarily mean Sun/Moon was worse then Let's Go, it is more that they made my expectations for Let's Go that much lower and they had less "pre-release" backlash. So it would be fun to see just how these new games will work out first hand regardless, but it will basically be all about how i feel when the games actually release, but i digress.
