That was the plan; that or pirating it. The basic Pokemon formula is so watertight that I know I'll have at least a decent time with the game, but if they're not gonna pull their thumbs out and make the game worth $60, they're sure as hell not getting my $60. I'm sure people will have buyers remorse by December or January and I can snap up a used copy for cheap.

Pretty much. Nintendo insisted there would be no new switch hardware revision, so any hopes of me getting a pokemon themed switch with the game bundled is dashed. I was planning on pirating on my old switch anyways.

I was going to buy a Switch for SwoleShilver, Octopath, and a couple other games but now that GF has killed Pokemon and the other games are getting steam ports I'm gonna emulate switch shit if I even bother with it at all.
