Would probably rate oras a bit higher than X and Y.
They're shit remakes but actually decently fun games just nothing spectacular and would rate USUM the same as LGPE and rate RS as flawed too
Everything else is on point though

Unironically one of my favorite games. The level curve never really bothered me, but the Pokémon distribution is absolutely a major flaw.

No it isn't. It's literally just "I'm too autistic to use gen 1 pokemon because of my imaginary rules that I have to use only the newest generation of pokemon the game has." It's not an objective flaw.

This. The only objective distribution complaint is not that they saved new pokemon for Kanto, but that they were almost all of the new dark types. Having new discoveries postgame is fine. But Umbreon shouldn't be the only Dark choice in Johto (at least in GS).

gen 1 - 3 didnt have the physical special split. so many pokemon were absolutely dreadful like flareon who is a fire type with high attack stat but all fire attacks are special so its trash. also gen 1 special was not split between atk and def so it was op and psychic had no counters. i would say these are obvious idiotic game design choices
