Pokemon always being able to transfer forward as of gen 3 is what kept people engaged with the series over other monster collecting games. People get to go full autism bonding with a bro of their choice, getting it in a matching ball and beating all the challenges with it. Without that element, Pokemon is just a shitty JRPG. Why bother getting attached to any Galar Pokemon if maybe 5 of them will ever appear in another regional dex?

Classic fox and grapes. People(fox) hate pokemon (grapes) because its something they can't have. Game developers have every right to change the game however they see fit and honestly we should have seen this coming from GF

Because people were accepting the glaring flaws with the game's quality on account of it making some small steps forward with ideas like the Wild Area. Now that people are learning getting even those steps forward costs core content that we've had for years they're pissed that we're seemingly not making any progress at all.
