Has anyone realized that Double Battles might've been axed? I don't think they can handle having 4 Dynamaxed Pokemon on the same screen...

Do you mean multi-battles, with 4 players? Because double battles would likely function like every other gimmick has and only allow one dynamax on your team per battle. Multi-battles would probably incorporate the system of switching the dynamax energy between both players so neither can dynamax at the same time.

double battles betting removed would be a blessing in disguise, because that means they would bring back official singles support, which I think it worth the sacrifice
but because doubles is their attempt at esports, I don't think it will go away
