The problem isn’t that it floats. The problem is that it lost its menacing pose and now looks way smaller, it just wiggles around like a normal eel.... Before it seemed more like a cool lamprey monster.

Gen 6 is way more menacing than him bobbing back and forth and occasionally hopping. But I do wish they kept the color scheme.

It looks bad because it doesn't even look like its in a fight, its just flapping in the wind. Its also less monstrous, the pose downplays its arms capable of karate chopping
