If you've ever bought anything Pokémon-related that wasn't a Game Freak-made Pokémon game, you are to blame for this situation we're in. YOU were the ones supporting the non-core elements of the franchise, YOU are to blame for Game Freak being unable to delay their games. You have no right to bitch about Game Freak's decisions, because you TOLD them you were a-ok with that.
