It would work if the stationary animation had them flap, even if only occasionally. Wingull are supposed to be good at gliding, but being stationary with no forward momentum just looks odd for them

it also seems odd that these are supposed to be important raid battles but theres like a dozen to choose from in your immediate vicinity. there should be 4 or 5 scattered far across the entire wild area and players should have to trek to the ones they want to fight. If the entire wild area can be outlined by the red beams we see rendered this will be an extremely pathetic feature.
