Mallow's father abandoned her family at a very young age. Her mother remarried an abusive narcissist who regularly beat her sisters and viciously raped Mallow. Her mother attempted to intercede at one point and lost an eye for her trouble; she wears a glass replacement.
Due to being raped by many long, hard, inanimate objects, Mallow is completely infertile. Her crotch is so heavily scarred it required cosmetic surgery, and even still, her vagina is largely vestigial.
One of Mallow's breasts is fake, again for cosmetic purposes. Once she was old enough to leave her abusive home, she had to do so under cover of darkness for fear of being caught and killed (something her step father threatened countless times).
He was eventually caught beaten Mallow's mother with a flail in public and incarcerated. He is serving a life sentence. After sentencing, his words leaving the courtroom were, and I quote: "If you ever let me out, I'll wear their fucking skin as a jacket!"
