Double Kick has never used the kick animation. It's the one kick move that doesn't.

The kick animation may very well be improved though. It's just not applied to Double Kick as a weird design choice/reference to older games.

How is it laziness if a kick animation does exist? All the other kick moves use it. They're just choosing not to use it with that move, as is always the case.

I get that you're angry but try out the move in older games and you'll see they don't use the animation there either.

Different team with different design choices to the mainline series. I'm not even saying it's a good choice for Double Kick to not use the kick animation, just explaining that it is indeed a choice and not laziness since kick animations do exist but just aren't applied to that move.

I would prefer if Double Kick did use the kick animation but it never has in the mainline games.

This is what bugs me

I dont personally care about pokemon being gone (I get why other people do) and megas/z moves beimg gone soumds awesome (except dynamaxing exists, praying it isnt in competetive).

What pisses me off is the reason they did all this shit was because pokemon is made by a fucking small ass team who have no idea what they are doing. For the love of god dont use quality over quantity as an excuse when you have n64 animations and textures

Holy hell, how many hoops are you trying to jump through here anon? By your logic water gun shouldn't ever be animated to come out of anything but a Pokemon's chest area because it's always been that way.
