>>39022795In the world that i'm building, there are some inconsistencies between Pokemon canon and what I want for it to be cooler. For example, Golett is a Pokemon created by other Pokemon and have been around since ancient times. They're kind of just like errand robots imbued with mysterious life energy, and only those who dedicate their whole lives to the trade can create and fix them. Since they're basically indentured servants, they are rarely allowed to participate in combat, so they don't often gain EXP to evolve into Golurk. However one of this region's legendary heroes is a shiny Golurk (tribute to my favorite shiny) who formed an Exploration Team with two other Ghost types in order to break the misconception that Ghost types are evil, or they just bring about misfortune. One of the party members wanted to be a Golett and he likes playing characters with oddball backgrounds, so he's a worker for the nearby exploration institution, Alakazam's Adventuring Academy, or AAA. On a normal day, he gets a task to go through the Beach Forest to collect some Berries unique to the foliage alongside the coast, however he finds the other 4 party members washed up on the beach, and that's how the campaign will start.
