Anyone else’s Pokemon taking a permanent vacation in Alola? I have no drive to even get Sword or Shield used and Home is basically Purgatory.

More or less. Need USUM for the new UBs, but other than that it's smooth sails, battles with friends, and as much Battle Tree and Battle Spot I can tolerate. Game Freak can go fuck itself.

I'll just focus on clearing Alpha Sapphire and Ultra Sun, as well as completing the Bank Pokédex, for now. As for the Switch and onwards games, maybe someday, but not for a while.

Some people still have their first Starters with all STAB attacks or other such sentimental Pokemon that aren’t exactly competently viable, but who cares? Even if they are considered “shitmons”, they mean a lot to certain individuals and having them with you in a new region is important. Just because you aren’t attached to your Pokemon doesn’t mean others aren’t.

If you regret transferring any of your Pokemon to Alola, you can always send them back to Kalos or Hoenn by using a hacked 3DS. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there's a way to send them back any further yet.
