Maybe someone besides Ash, going on a journey by themselves and their team of ragtag Pokémon trying to make it big. Maybe some humour but it doesn’t take up the whole show, and the evil team is more of brooding force slowly reaching a climax with the protagonist having to go all out. Maybe he/she wins the league, maybe not but then it ends and we start the next season with a new protagonist
