All they have to do is spend the 3 months or so after release programming in the pokemon so they can patch them in by the time home is released. Maybe they will have to sacrifice development time for sword and shield 2 but I don't give a fuck. Not like they change much anyway, probably just pretend to be working half the time those kinds of games are in development
