Is it really Gamefreak who is at fault here?

Are we sure its not Nintendo or/and TPC as a whole?

We know that Gamefreak is making another game at the moment that isnt Pokemon and they have done some in the past too. What if Gamefreak literally cant get more people on board to work on the games because its not them who have the resources, but Nintendo and TPC?

I hate how this entire situation isnt transparent at all and we cant be sure what the actual facts are. Not trying to defend Gamefreak here, but i feel like there is more behind this entire shitshow than just Gamefreak making bad decisions.

I would guess if anything nintendo probably imposes stupid deadlines on GameFreak. So, GameFreak has to go into rushdown mode to finish the games while adding new features to the games, probably accounting for the poor graphic quality and stuff. They are capable of doing better, its just that they don't have the time to do so.

I think, however, now that there is a huge backlash on the games Nintendo will (hopefully) give them more time.

GameFreak should've planned better and used their time more efficiently.
TPC should've waited on producing Gen 8 merch so they wouldn't lose so much if the game needed to be delayed.
Nintendo should've forced help onto GameFreak the second they realized the game was going to be incomplete.

If GameFreak wants to stop making Pokemon games then they should let another developer do so, or create another department that can focus on Pokemon games instead of splitting their only one into two teams.
It wouldn't be hard for them to hire developers that are passionate about making good Pokemon games. People fucking love Pokemon and it's a dream job for many talented people.

Nearly everything out of Masuda's mouth is fucking retarded the last 5 years. Read his fucking interviews.

Even if it's not them though then it is still their fault for not letting us know so we can target the right person.

All we give a shit about is good content filled games. We don't care who the bad guy is. So if you're not the bad guy the only way to stop being targeted is to let people fucking know.

Instead they have Masuda sit down and talk about how Kalos's theme is beauty and that's why OR/AS didn't and Gen 7 almost didn't have fucking customization.

And that it's about qautity, not quality. That being modern requires yearly games.

But games that aren't so content filled that children who supposedly don't want content can go to other stores who actually stock their shelves.

As if all kids are the same and only kids play even though they acknowledge their player base is aging regularly.

Or admit that other people at Game Freak didn't want to make the changes he pushed through anyway, like combining Go catching into Trash Go.

Or that Nintendo has offered help but they don't take it/need it.

Nintendo has bent over backwards in every way they can for them, even going so far as to make the fucking system for them this time.

If it's Nintendo Masuda has done a stellar job of making it look like it's primarily him and no amount of posting this is going to change this fact.
