They're definitely going to keep a balance of shitmons and goodmons. We already saw butter free confirmed. If they just put all the good ones in then next game would have nothing to offer. I assume it's reasonable to think theyd have to include every pokemon at least every other gen. Waiting over 4 years to play with a certain pokemon is ridiculous, but then again this is GF.

Charizard is a shitmon in everything but popularity, especially without megas. Kind of proves that only popular mons are getting in regardless of stats or viability.

Because it makes no sense for them to cut actual fan favorites or mons that see high usage. They will cull the pokemon that are unnecessary. They aren't going to cut fucking Blastoise and keep Zigzagoon or some shit

Imagine you shop at a grocery store, the store owner announces "oh we are no longer going to carry Shit and Piss cereal because no one buys it and it waste space on our shelves" would your logical reaction be "Oh fuck if they stop selling shit and piss cereal that no one buys that means tomorrow they'll stop selling bread and milk and other high selling essential commodities!"

Or very popular features like Following Pokemon, Secret Bases/The Underground, Battle Frontier, PSS, Pokemon Amie/Refresh, and Super Training.

I don't know if you are pretending to be retarded or not, but no one fucking likes Z moves. Competitive community has hated them since they first came out, they are completely unbalanced and a mistake. They are used because they HAVE to be used not because they are good or beloved or balanced. Megas are also an unbalanced mess

This is actually very possible, since Regional dexes haven't had many pokemons, for the exception of games that had multiple "dexes", like Kalos and Alola.

I can't wait to use my very visibly popular and powerful often used pokemon like seaking, rhyperior, jolteon, flareon, umbreon, noctowl, lanturn, the baby pokemon, manectric, wailord, glalie, vespiquen, mantine, abomasnow, leafeon, glaceon, gigalith, seismitoad, garbodor, vanilluxe, haxorus, golurk, braviary, diggersby, pangoro, meowstic, goodra, avalugg, and vikavolt.

I can't wait, those are some of the best and most versatile pokemon needed to shake up both vgc and fan metagames.

alola had a small dex until usum expanded it by a third.. the biggest regional dex in a mainline new gen game was, in fact, kalos, but it was a wild outlier. galar will very likely have around 300 pokemon, probably closer to 250.
