D/P remakes will inevitably be hot garbage because the games they're based on are hot garbage and Gamefreak will do almost nothing besides giving them a shiny new coat of paint. Platinum Sinnoh is great, D/P Sinnoh is trash. At best we'll only be getting a half-assed Giratina post game episode and maybe another fire type or two in the main game purely because of Flint (And one of them will be Magmortar).

At least the Spear Pillar cutscene with Cyrus summoning the legendary will probably look cool, and there's gonna be a bunch more Mars porn.

Just gonna forget Johtofags like that? Best remakes of any game ever, hands down, and by far the coziest atmosphere we've ever seen in a Pokemon game to date. Best unique/semi-unique features, most fully featured, best minigames.

Okay I seriously don't get this. Almost everyone univerally shits D/P (some go as far as to call it the worst games) but praises Platinum. What does Platinum change that "saved" Sinnoh? I guess Surfing feels faster and more fire types are available?

There's some issues that should really be fixed, diversity of pokemon for example, but I feel if they just take some influence from Platinum as well it'll be fine.

I know I may be crucified for sayi g thus but HGSS followed GS TOO well. It'snice in some areas but promblems that should have been fixed came back in HGSS just for accuracy.

D/P had some problems but unlike with Johto Platinum fixed every wrong D/P made. Both Crystal and HGSS still keep alot of GS' flaws.

There's a bit of an exp curve issue and Dark types don't exist until the second half of the game, but what else do people dislike about Johto?

I wish people would give credits to HG/SS for AT LEAST making the level curve less worse even if it's still a problem. Right off the bat Falkner's Pidgeotto got bumped from level 9 to level 13.

For me I dislike how the pokemon were distributed. Have you ever compared the available pokemon in Crystal to Gold or Silver? Crystal drops Mankey, Mareep, Girafarig, and Remoraid. It also makes Magmar harder to get, moving it from Burned Tower to MOUNT SILVER. I swear the only fire types you get before the E4 are Growlithe, Magby from the egg, and the legendaries, Crystal just makes it harder to make teams.

Bit is putting it too lightly. Trying to add a new pokemon to your team lategame requires grinding them 10-15 levels. By Clair wild pokemon are still in the 20-25 range while trainers have pokemon in tbe late 30's to early 40's.

There's a reason so many people use early game pokemon like pidget, mareep, and the eevee from goldenrod city.

Not him, but they really weren't. They're the only first versions in the series that became almost completely unplayable in comparison to their third version, because there was so much shit that needed to be fixed.
