What were they thinking removing Megas? Don't they see merit in making past forgotten Pokemon more relevant? No one cared for shitters like Audino, Bannette or Absol before and a single new evo wouldn't fix them. And it even made the playthroughs way more fun by deciding which Mega would be the focus of your story team.

Megas also allowed for cooler designs and that's honestly why I want them. The Pokemon overflowing with energy did some heavy changes in them that went beyond the boring natural evolution most Pokemon have. Pokemon sometimes is really vanilla with its
>Small dog, medium dog, large dog
approach, at least Megas spicied the designs up.
