>>39033857. I still don't hate Let's Go like a bunch of you whiny fags seem to, there's certainly merit to having a Pokemon game that doesn't take a man like me a month to go through in exchange for simplielfied, if somewhat wonky catching mechanics (assuming rares and legendaries don't take an hour of constant throws and soft resets like legendaries did on the 3DS games). I'll even say the Pokeball controller is a fun little gimmick (maybe not for $50, but for the $20 I paid it seems ok). And it is nice to not be spammed with junk Pokemon whenever I revisit a new area, instead picking/choosing my encounters. But there's no doubt that too many corners were cut in the animations....and yet this game still looks a million times better than Sword and Shield. Pidgey actually flap their wings and even fly away when leaving the area and Pokemon don't randomly appear in puffs of smoke. Even the trainer animations in Let's Go are better. How they managed to fuck up sword and shield this much, I don't know.
Also thought it would be cool since I had Blue as a kid and never played through Yellow, didn't realize how loosely this follows Yellows story ahead of time. It's more like a fusion of red/blue and yellow than a remake of yellow.
