Kicker is they could still do this shit. I don't trust them to, but lack of a national dex dosen't (and shouldn't) have an impact on lore. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they used it as another excuse for not having a national dex.

Why has the Nintendo Switch been such a middle finger to actual gamers thus far? The only redeeming quality it's got going for it is Super Mario Odyssey which honestly could have been released on the Wii U. Everything else is either a port from a better console, a shitty new attempt at a game like Arms / 1,2, Switch, or a new iteration of a long-running series that falls short of expectations.

Here I was swearing off of the Playstation brand due to the offensive influx of needless censorship, hoping to find sanctuary in Nintendo's offerings, but apparently the Switch isn't an option either. What the actual fuck has happened to gaming?
