Removing the National Dex actually ADDS content to the game.

The argument being made about less content is fucking stupid if you think for longer than five seconds. You are upset because you are losing the ability to transfer old mons from previous games with all their stats and levels intact....in what way does reusing old mons that are fully leveled and trained already ADD content to the game? You are removing the whole element of catching pokemon and training them from the game, just importing already trained mons is actively removing content from the game. So complaining that you now have to actually play the game and can't just import all your pokemon and not do any work is nonsensical. There's more content in Sword and Shield than in any other pokemon game ever just by virtue of the fact that you actually have to play the fucking game and can't just skip all the training
