>>39045325The thing I like the most about this is that GameFreak actually gave the AI more to do and expanded on the encounters as a whole. The fact that the water Pokémon interact with the water, Pokémon come in herds, having the option to whistle at Pokémon to get their attention, giving them different moods where they’ll chase you if provoked, Pokémon are actually encountered in the right biomes or near landmarks that relate to their typing/lore, etc. makes the experience all the more immersive.
