I literally found like 5 shinies on accident just trying to find a shiny Chansey. Outside of wormholes in USUM it's by far the easiest way to find shinies in any game.

It's somewhat balanced by the fact that shinies can and will run away in LGPE plus your Pokeballs aren't guaranteed to actually hit the Pokemon. It's easy to panic, miss your balls and have it run.
