If they would make Pokémon Home a virtual battle frontier/showdown/Pokémon Amie/Super training /minigame hub combo where you can actually play competitive and interact with All of your Pokémon - would you accept the downside of lacking national dex in Sword and shield? Because I would dig a Expanded Amie with minigame. Also what could they do with Pokémon home to make it useful other than keeping Pokémon in it?

No you retard. Anything they add in Home could have been added in SS. Anything they add in Home makes SS a worse game. If they can add a Battle Frontier in Home then why the fuck can't they add it in SS.

Tell me, OP. Will you be willing to pay a "gateway fee" (as we don't know if they'll charge monthly or yearly for it, probably the former), for what was once a 40 dollars game that allowed you to do this, and battle free of charge online with people (now that Nintendo online has a cost), to a prize that would ascend to either twice of what that 40 bucks game was worth it?

Unless it's a fucking stadium game, and it actually justifies itself with more than being either a neutered Poke-pelago, or a pseudo dream world with storage included, Home is worthless.
And let's face it. Home will be Bank, with a new coat of paint and PoGo compatibility. If you really think that you'll get anything else, you are WAY too optimistic with Game Freak.

SW ᛫ SH might not end up as a bad game, but if we let them get away with cutting features this time then they'll get away with cutting more and more features in the following games and by the time shills and normies realize it it'll be too late and the franchise would be beyond saving. It's like a tumor, better deal with it while it's small else it'll grow and eventually be too big to be cured.

If it's contantly updated with new stuff, well fleshed out, and SW/SH has a ton of new content to make up for the loss, than sure. It'll have to feel like a game in its own right though and not just a service like bank but I really don't have high hopes.

If they would make Home a postgame place it would be great. They could shit out new games to play the story and gather new mons and then chill and play with them at "home" in post game activities. It could have a Stadium like interface where you choose for example arena for fights, home for Amie, park for minigames and mall for shopping and shit.

Not an excuse not to include Pokémon in the Pokémon game. You can't play the actual game with those Pokémon, and there's literally no reason for that.
Whatever they do with Home, it does not excuse the games being garbage.
