Why did his evolution get cut?
Why didn't he get a gen 4 crossgen evo which he needed much more than some of the other ones?
Why didn't he get a mega which he definitely needed more than pretty much every other pokemon that got one?
Why do they hate him so much?

hot take: the farfetch'd "evo" in the gold beta was not actually an evo, it was a counterpart/rival for farfetch'd a masked swan wielding a different vegetable as a weapon, e.g. miltank to tauros.

This guy speaks the truth. You meet a guy who will trade a Spearow for it. You never heard of this Farfetch'd before but Spearow sucks and evolves into Fearow which is still shittier than its counterpart Pigeot. So what is there to lose? Well turns out that Farfetch'd is the worst flying type in the game, even worse than Spearow. Gen 1 had a lot of Pokemon designed to be shit, including your favorite duck.

I know taste is subjective and all that, but I just wish they kept the same style as the generation they were from. They're all weirdly smooth and circular instead of looking organic, especially Lickilicky. I guess they were trying to make them easier to animate/make toys.
