If Pokemon Home was basically an official version of Showdown, allowing you to battle other people with Pokemon saved to Home on your smart phone, would that alleviate some of the rage towards S/S?

This will be the generation that Nintendo sends the C&D to Showdown, mark my words. They're going to get much more popular while the new games don't sell nearly as much. It will be seen a straight competition due to offering what SS lacked.
