>>39048564Why are pokemon fans like this? Complaining does bring change.
For example, in a pre-release demo for the new Samurai Shodown a guy who tests input lag on twitter found out it was incredibly high. 8 frames. People complained, the devs said we'll look into it and in 2 weeks patched it down to 4 frames. Which is the best for an UE4 fighter. But more than that, they actually flew out a developer to the guy who original found the issue in France and let him test it. All before launch. Another game that has rightly got heaps of criticism over the years is Bloodstained. But they didn't ignore complaints or give up and say it is better than nothing. They kept working on it even when it meant switching devs and many delays. By the end the game has seen huge improvements in every aspects. The visuals are still lacking, but the fact there was communication and a serious attempt made is something fans pay attention to. Both of these are Japanese devs btw, language barrier didn't stop them.
GF still has a chance to respond like this, but the more fans they see willing to take whatever shit is thrown at them the less they feel the need to change. And it shouldn't get to the point where fans are so angry with no response. A simple "we've heard your concerns and want to deliver the best product possible. Please just wait a little longer." would be enough. You don't have to go on an autistic crusade, just make it clear hey please fix this serious issue.
