Not OP but you guys are complete retards. If you make new legendaries and want them to be relevant after 800 pokemon, they need to be overpowered (see tapus; some UBs, etc)

If you have a game with a reduced amount of pokemon, they just need to be strong compared to those pokemon, thanks to the culling they won't need to make new legends stronger than gen 7's best pokemon.

ALSO if you never transfer pokémon, then it literally doesn't matter.

The game is objectively good for people like me and OP but you guys hate to see other people enjoy the game even tho we objectively will

Legendaries don't need to be stronger than each other, but just stronger than normal pokémon or having something exclusive. You can balance the meta without deleting the pokémon from the game, but simply making them unusable in competitive tournaments, as they always did.

This is not what "objectively" means actually. It's good for you because you don't care, but this choise is too risky for the old players which will not have interest in a game were their favorite pokémon aren't allowed, nor they can't transfer their team (or collection) and forced to pay a service.
