>>39054346I'm with you, even if it's not the design I like there's usually something - the typing, movepool, personality, name, ect. - that makes it stand out positively in my mind. For example with tornadus we finally got a pure flying type, and seeing that it is a physical manifestation/personifocation of pure wind it finally makes sense why none of the numerous birds or other random flying things were pure flying. Evidently it's meaning is closer to air/wind specifically, and thus all the rest have extra things that are a big enough part of them that it warrants another type.
