Pokemon operates around a business model of having a yearly release to sell you cards, shirts, toys etc. They make nothing off the games and can afford a flop as long as you keep buying the merchandise. As long as this proves to be profitable, you will never get a good Pokemon game. Everyone boycotting the games does nothing unless everyone also boycotts the entire business model.
