People are fine with the recycled animations in game. They point out the laziness of the "new animations" because its being used as the reason to cut out mons.

That's it. That's the argument. It is ridiculous to think people are asking for purely new animations, they're clowning on the lackluster ones in game because its supposed to be the justification for the culling.

The "new animations" are for the trainers and the Dynamax mechanic, and given how Sun and Moon were heavy AF on cutscenes we will likely be seeing the same thing happen with Sword and Shield.

It's funny when people who have no game dev experience act like they know what's best for a game.

So you're telling me that they were able to impliment more expressive and wilder animations for Sun and Moon for Z-Moves and its story heavy cutscenes while still managing to port all the mons... and they can't now because they have to make a two second "Rawr xD" animation for the big Pokemon gimmick that they're gonna scrap the next game

The thing is the Switch is boasting a region with significantly more detail and scope than anything Pokemon on 3DS.

But hey, I'm sure a Banjofag who gets pissy over seeing Steve even when he has his character in Smash has more game dev experience than Game Freak does.

Sure. Plenty of other monster collecting games like Digimon and even SMT exist and I play them just fine. All I did was explain the situation, but that seems to be lost to a person who just fishes (Yous) on his computer all day while avatarfagging. My mistake.
