I have never caught them all and I don’t ever plan to do so. It’s a waste of time and as we all know time is the most valuable currency of life.
I don’t care about irrelevant shitmons like Sunflora. All I want in a Pokémon game is a new region to explore and cool looking Pokémon. Boom.

I've caught them all in Kalos.
I've caught them all in Alola.
And I'm going to catch them all in Galar.

Cause "catch em all" doesn't JUST mean "get every pokemon ever".
It more accurately means "catch every pokemon in the region" considering you don't catch pokemon that aren't in the given region. You don't even breed them naturally. Literally the only game where you could catch the whole dex was Red/Blue/Yellow. Every game after required you to use some kind of transfer from a past game to do it. That, to me, isn't catching them all, that's just pushing the holes into your game.
All they've done this time is make it so there aren't any holes to fill. Filling the Galar dex will be catching them all.

In case someone wants to shitpost about me being some kind of genwunner, I have played all the games, I just didn't finish the regional dex for Gens 2,3 and 4 because I didn't have anyone to trade with. Online trading made it way more accessible to fill out the regional dex.
